Austere Advanced First Aid

40 Hours, F2F or Hybrid.

This course teaches the basics of extended care in low resource environemnts where definitive care may be severely delayed or inacessible.

This course has no prerequisites and is suitable for participants with no prior training. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification, valid for three (3) years.

Austere Emergency First Responder

80 Hours, F2F or Hybrid

The authoritative austere medicine course for remote professionals and leaders who operate in low-resource, remote and other austere environments where difinitive care may be severely delayed or inaccessible.

This course has no prerequisites, however requires significant prework for those with no prior medical training. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification, valid for three (3) years.

Austere Medic

80 Hours, F2F or Hybrid

This course builds on prior professional medical training, giving the opportunity to apply critical thinking to meet the challenges of remote and resource constrained environments within a BLS scope.

Participants must meet prerequisite conditions. Upon successful completion, participants receive certification, valid for three (3) years.

Short Courses

Spine Assessment & Packaging

6 Hours, F2F or Hybrid

Packaging for spine in the presence of an MOI can complicate, delay and increase the risks involved in evacuating a patient. Learn how to assess a spine and make the decision to clear or package the patient.

Participants must hold an AAFA or equivalent WAFA from a recognised organisation. This is a non-certificated course.
